Family sessions in Bryan/College Station are at the heart of our studio. In conjunction with maternity and newborn pictures, we delight in growing a relationship with each of our clients and photographing them not once but hopefully many times through the years. For 2018, we are offering some exciting options along with our beautiful family sessions. See below for a brief description of each one. - LIMITED EDITION COTTON FIELD SESSIONS
When offered: Thursday and Friday, Sept 13-14, Sept 20-21, Sept 27-28 (Andrea Scott, associate photographer will photograph the Sept 27-28 sessions)
When booking opens: Wed, August 1 at 8 pm
What to expect: Cotton fields are so classic!! Every time I’ve mentioned these sessions, people’s eyes light up!! Maybe it’s the clean white, the genuine Texas feel, or the unique type of session. Either way, we anticipate that the available slots will fill up fast! Expect our typical workflow of posed and life-inspired images. Running through the field, sunset-kissed family poses, and hands full of cotton. These images will come to life on the walls of your home and as gifts to family!
2. FALL FAMILY SESSIONS
When offered: Fridays and Saturdays, Oct 19-20 and Oct 26-27
When booking opens: Wed, August 1 at 8 PM
What to expect: Fall family sessions are our standard bearer. I have literally offered fall family sessions since the day I opened my doors for business almost 9 years ago. This year, I have scouted some unique locations – ones I have never used – and look forward to bringing the same great quality of image and family fun to these new places. Your images and resulting art work will be unique from anything else your friends have!
3. LIFE-INSPIRED CAMPFIRE SESSIONS
When offered: Friday and Saturday, Oct 26-27
When booking opens: Wed, September 5 at 8 PM
What to expect: Our skilled associate photographer Andrea Scott is taking the fall to a whole new level with life-inspired sessions around a campfire. Come with your buffalo plaid ready to roast marshmallows, giggle, and share a sweet family time as Andrea captures the joy you share. Because it’s more life-inspired, this session will be less posed and more casual.
4. SANTA’S SHOPPE AT SMP STUDIO
When offered: Mornings only from 9 am-12 pm on Friday and Saturday, November 9-10
When booking opens: Wed, October 3 at 8 PM
What to expect: These are our traditional, quick 3-5 image sessions with Santa. These appointment times are only 5 minutes long because if your little one is afraid of Santa, we don’t want it to be painful for anyone. There will be 2 package options – 1 high-res image for $30 or 3 for $80. You’ll see them in an online gallery and get to choose your favorites for download.
5. SANTA’S FARM AT CHRISTMAS TREE FARM
When offered: Late afternoon only, Thursday-Saturday, November 8-10
When booking opens: Wed, October 3 at 8 PM
What to expect: We are taking Santa’s show on the road! For these sessions, half of the session time Santa will join your family for an extended photo shoot at the Christmas tree farm. The second half of your session will feature your family in a classic fall setting, all in the same location. It’s like getting a two-for-one session! So much variety in your session and so much fun for your kiddos – especially older ones!
6. LIMITED EDITION KYLE FIELD SESSIONS
When offered: Tuesdays in November between 3-5 PM or as Kyle Field allows
When bookings open: Wed, August 1 at 8 PM
What to expect: This particular limited edition session is back by popular demand! Dressing up in our best maroon, running around Kyle and capturing your Aggie family memories is what we do best! Don’t miss this opportunity for once-in-a-lifetime pictures! You won’t regret seeing your family enjoying themselves on this hallowed ground!
7. LIMITED EDITION HOLIDAY WONDER SESSIONS
When offered: Evenings, the week of November 26-30
When bookings open: Wed, October 3 at 8 PM
What to expect: You will LOVE these unique in-home Christmas tree sessions. What a great way to commemorate the love and wonder your children have for Christmas and the holiday season. Quick on the heels of Thanksgiving, your home and family can be prepped with the holiday spirit. Images and products will be returned in time to share with friends and family or to give as Christmas gifts.
