There’s a story behind our Happy Holiday sessions and why this year I went with a different kind of Christmas photography experience:
I wondered if we were crazy to even think about it: “Let’s not do Santa photos…” was a thought that had been swirling around since early 2019, and when it came time to make the final decision, I decided to take a chance with an idea, And MAN I AM SO GLAD I DID!
These sessions were full of ALL the joy, giggles, wide eyes of wonder, and cookies you think about when you remember back to Christmas as a kid. Seeing the full range of holiday attire – from the fancy bow ties and twirly dresses to the cozy jammies they wear while dreaming of Sugarplums – could put even the grinchiest grinch in the holiday spirit!
It was a great reminder that as a studio, we are always at our best when we continue to innovate, imagine, and not stay in the same place we have always been. The entire staff gets a part in the collaborative process and MAN, these women have some amazing ideas! Will we do them again next year? WHO KNOWS! We use the term “limited edition sessions” because it’s true – we want to always be ready to embrace something new!
Get ready for 2020, because we have SO much to share – and so many new things headed your way!
