Y’all. I’m so excited to share a bit of this GORGEOUS session with you.
Charli and Kate met me on a beautiful evening at Basecamp Farms, located in Navasota, and I was so honored to photograph them (and Charli’s mom) for a sweet mother – daughter session.
We ran through rows of flowers, played games, looked for bugs and rocks, Kate even found a shell that she was VERY concerned about keeping safe.
I love sessions that celebrate the relationship between mothers and daughters. Maybe it’s because my own daughter is approaching her first birthday quicker than I would like her to (y’all, she’s CRAWLING!)… but there is just something about capturing the unique bond that moms and their girls share.
I love imagining that years from now, Kate will be able to hold these pictures in her hands and remember that her mama has always been there to love and encourage her… and grandma was right there to encourage and care for both of them as well.
Charli – thank you for giving me the privilege of coming into your life and getting to share in it and capture this season for you. I do not doubt that Kate will be able to see these throughout her life and find so much love and encouragement in these images. Your family is beautiful!
