Hello, all! I hope you’re enjoying the beginning of a wonderful break and time with family and friends. Before the year ends, I wanted to pop in and tie up a few last odds and ends.
First, I wanted to let you know that I will be on holiday beginning today through Wednesday, January 2, 2013. I’ll be back in the office, returning emails and scheduling sessions beginning Thursday, January 3.
Speaking of sessions, there are some exciting changes coming, which I’ll officially announce on this site on Tuesday, January 8. Be sure to check back in.
I also wanted to take a moment and recognize a very important person, my amazing assistant Holly Stanfield! I literally do not know how I could run this business without her. Not only does she help me with a lot of the administrative tasks, but she’s got a great creative and design eye. I’m so grateful for you, dear friend. Your organization, initiative, and creativity are beyond compare, and I constantly thank God for allowing my need and your availability and interest to match up. And of course, your precious daughter is one of my favorite subjects! Thank you for all you do!!!
Finally, I wanted to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas! One of my favorite Christmas carols is “Silent Night.” The line that strikes me over and over again is “Jesus, Lord at Thy birth.” Just think about that for a second. On the very day he was born, unable to talk, sit up, walk, or even hold up His head, He was already Lord over this earth. He was Emmanuel… God with us. It brings me to tears. It is such a beautiful truth.
So as you celebrate this year, I hope you are drawn closer to Him, whether for the first time in the gift of an eternal relationship with Him or in a renewed way through the mystery and beauty of His love. I pray it’s a joyful time for all of you!
As always, thank you for allowing me to serve you. It is my pleasure and joy.
Blessings,
Shannon
