Grady. 9 days old.
Can you even believe how handsome sweet newborn Grady is? It’s possible that he is the cutest resident of Bryan/College Station! I loved getting to serve his family for their newborn portraits.
Just look at big sister’s hand gently resting on brother’s head and the tender look on her face.
Once we were finished with family pictures, we transitioned to this beautiful blue backdrop. His mom and I discussed his session in advance so that I was ready with backdrops, hats, baskets, etc. before he came. Part of the service I provide is to style the session according to each baby’s nursery/mom’s color preferences. I have a large selection of items, but sometimes I also purchase additional ones in order to provide a unique experience for each family.
Grady’s mom loves plaids (his nursery bedding is plaid with these same colors), so naturally, I got out this little hat for us to incorporate.
Another color in Grady’s nursery is green. Thankfully, I had this great knitted hat from And Whatnot Boutique.
Grady’s mom indulged me and allowed me to photograph him with my beloved Very Hungry Caterpillar set up. ( It’s also from And Whatnot Boutique.) I loved reading that book to my children! I think it’s a favorite for most parents and children.
His family are big outdoors men. They fish, hunt, and various other outdoor activities. In fact, one of Grady’s aunts crocheted this little hat and fishies for his session. The boat is mine, and I really wanted the fishies, too, but I think they are going to be hanging up in his room. Too cute, right?! 🙂
Another beloved friend made this sweet quilt for him. Just love how he smiled in his sleep while resting on it. Atta boy!
The little hunter on the blanket his aunt crocheted for him.
Finally, Grady’s parents ordered not only custom birth announcements but also a CD of all the images. They wanted to be able to keep them all!! When a family purchases a CD, I also share a great website where they can print as many pictures as they like. The quality is great and prices more conducive to ordering in large quantities. 🙂
