Oh, sweet baby Norah! How I love you and loved photographing you. You were so smiley and precious. Not a peep, just sweet sleepy time. Also, Momma had a lot of great ideas for your newborn session. It was a blast!
One of the things I like to do before the session is to visit on the phone with each client. I like to get a feel for what their vision is for the session and especially the final images. In this case, Norah’s mommy really wanted some different ones she could use for birth announcements (as well as to hang on the wall, of course. ;)). So we did the set up below, leaving plenty of room for her to add an announcement and Norah’s stats. (Her mommy is pretty handy with a computer, too.)
The first of many smiles Miss Norah blessed us with. 🙂
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a baby smile this big while hanging out on one of my blankets. She held this smile for a long time.
Speaking of smiles, these images make me so happy!! Norah’s mommy had painted and recovered this chair herself. It’s also a part of Norah’s nursery, so we definitely had to incorporate it.
Daddy’s beautiful girls!!
The whole family!!
Okay, so we totally posed Norah’s hand holding her daddy’s. And why not? This session was a few weeks ago, and she’s already bigger.
Norah’s first house. She’ll run around and expl0re all its nooks and crannies! Thank you for allowing me the privilege of being her newborn photographer. It was an honor!!

I love this…she is just precious. Makes my 5 month old look like such a big girl.
