Kaden was recently in the studio for his newborn session and he was just a doll!
Photographing Kaden was especially meaningful to me because his mama, Jeana, is a sweet friend from church. Getting to photograph her baby boy felt like we were coming full circle because she used to babysit MY KIDS! I felt like I was getting a front row seat to this next chapter of her life and MAN is is sweet. She is such a natural and I know she will be the best mommy to him.
Even Kaden’s dad played a big role in his session. He made the horseshoe initials that we used in the image below. These are such a unique and personal touch, and it’s so sweet to think about the care and love that went into such a special gift. How wonderful will it be for him as he grows to see these in his home and in these photos, to know that even before he was in their arms, he was on their hearts and minds as they prepared to meet him.
The love and relationship you will have with your child is being built even in these earliest moments, being able to capture it is an honor and a privilege. I see this job as an opportunity to preserve these moments for your child before they are able to remember them for themselves, so that as they grow there is never a doubt that they have always been special to you.
Do you see photographs as a way to tell and preserve your family’s story? If so, we would love to help you!
