Perhaps your remember this wee one? She came up from Houston to get her first ever pictures in the Texas bluebonnets and other wildflowers that were growing (albeit sparsely) around College Station. I loved meeting her and her parents. She was an easy-going, smiley baby, and she made my job so easy!! You can even tell in this picture that she’s likely going to have some beautiful red hair.
Fast forward about 7 months, and here she is again with her wonderful parents and longer locks of red hair!!
I love how the sun touches her red hair in this shot, and of course, her cutie patootie smile.
She’s right at the age where she’d rather be on the go then sit still for some crazy lady with a black box for a face. I get that. Absolutely! So one of my tricks is to give a toddler of this age something to do with his/her hands. Notice my noisemaker in the middle picture. If you look closely in the third one, you can see it in the wagon. If that image were to be enlarged, I would make sure to eliminate all traces of the noisemaker. Just a little service I provide when someone orders prints through my lab. 🙂
I think this has been one of my favorite poses for this year. I love getting the child’s perspective on life. And of course, the smiles are precious, too!!
Dreamy…
Finally, Mom busted out one of the cutest hair bows I’ve seen in a long time. It didn’t last long on Little One’s head, so I moved fast with my camera…and my feet!! So enjoyed this session!!
