If you live in College Station, you need to visit to the Horticultural Gardens. The University maintains these gardens, and even with drought conditions this summer, they were beautiful. They are not as extensive as what you may find in a bigger city like Dallas or Houston, but they are still a hidden gem, tucked away among rows of apartments.
This sweet lady was looking for some headshots for her new website. She wanted a place that was peaceful and green.
She indulged me as I worked on taking pictures with backlighting and my reflector. I love how the wind was blowing gently through her hair. Wish I could say I planned it that way… 🙂
This was one of my favorite images, but I couldn’t decide if color or black and white was better!
On the way out, we saw this beautiful burst of color!! Great to end a very enjoyable session!!
