Andrew | Bryan College Station Newborn Photography

Andrew.  10 days old.

“I browsed and looked for College Station newborn photographers and was so impressed with the quality of work on Shannon’s website and the high praise of her clients.  We were excited to have her take our son’s pictures. Shannon demonstrated such patience and genuine care while working with our baby and with us to take pictures we will treasure for the rest of our lives. My husband and I are so grateful we have these photos to capture our son’s first few days.”

Andrew’s parents opted for a mini-maternity session about 8 weeks before his due date.  The weather was still lovely in College Station in November, so we headed out to the George Bush Library to document Andrew while he was still inside his mommy’s tummy.

Then Andrew arrived  very close to on time!

A close up of Mr. Andrew’s little swirl.  Even cuter than the swirl was the way his daddy loved to comb it to make sure it was *just right*.  This is one loved little fella.

Andrew’s parents requested primary colors for his session.  And since The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a children’s classic and uses primary colors, it was the perfect time to use this set up.

Andrew’s parents brought this hat in.  A family member had made it for them.  I have a large selection of props and such to use, but I’m also very happy to incorporate any items a family brings with them for the session.

This moon (courtesy of PJ’s Crafting Corner) makes for an absolutely dreamy prop.  It’s perfect for a boy or girl session.

Andrew was born around the holidays, so he got to have a specific Christmas-themed set up.  Love this blanket from Adorable Props.

Andrew’s parents wanted to announce his birth and wish people a merry Christmas all at the same time, so we put together these great cards for them.

In addition to birth announcements, Andrew’s parents ordered a 12×12 album as a keepsake for all of his images.  The great thing about these albums is that they are fully customizable.  The colors, text, and images are all according to your preferences.  I create a draft based on your input and only order once you approve.  Two samples pages from the album are shown below.
